No, not in the traditional sense. We do not fire in a kiln. We will offer some ceramics that can be painted but they will not be food safe, only decorative.

That's a little tricky to answer as it has all to do with the artist choices while in the studio. With our items ranging from $12- $50, you can see the dilemma here. Everything is included in the cost-paint, studio time and glaze. All items are done the same day.

Another great question! It is suggested as we never want to not be available for a guest, however it is not needed most days. I would recommend that if you have an expectation of time to paint that you definitely make a reservation. There is no cost to make a reservation.

Great questions-and it truly depends on the artist! For the processing you will be surprised that you leave with your item the same day. The glazing process at the end is about 10 min, and mostly so that it dries well. We do not have a kiln and the items you find in studio are all decorative for that reason. This allows for us to have creations go home the same day.
